Member of KFDU and the Mid Coast Kayak Fishing Club

AusKayaks is a dedicated kayak hire and sales and boat hire dealer located on the lower western side of Lake Macquarie, established in February 2009 (ABN 30 988 359 903).


George Butler was brought up in the local region and spent much of his youth with Dora Creek as his playground. AusKayaks began on the banks of Stony Creek in Toronto. June 2010 we relocated to Dora Creek on the Stingaree Point peninsula overlooking Bonnell's Bay and now provide a fully mobile service for hires and purchases.

We currently have a number of both sit in and sit on top single kayaks, 2 tandem sit on top kayaks, a tinnie, a sports boat and fishing kayaks for hire.

At AusKayaks we are always looking for ways to enhance the experience for our customers and to this end a Paddle Group Forum has been formed for social outings.

2011 And we now have Maritime approval to conduct Guided Kayak Tours in and around Lake Macquarie to give us even more scope in providing a service to our customers.
